This place is close to the main bus terminal and easy walking to lots of other stuff. Close to the main tourist street for good cheap food. Even though it is on a main street rooms are quite (especially in the back). The staff are fantastic and will help as much as possible. It is cheap and very clean.

An excellent location with an extremely helpful owner. Be aware though that there is a 12.00midnight curfew. There is a communal area with TV and dvds.

We were really impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in Arthy`s (Reuben especially). Excellent location and well worth the money. We were a foursome and it was great to have a room that wasn´t just filled with 2 bunkbeds. Lots of space, even for 4 girls! Also loved the collection of dvds.

Absolutely fantastic option in buzzing La Paz. The two owners cannot do enough for you and they are soooo helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Film viewings are free in the lounge downstairs. Absolutely marvellous all together!! Thanks for making my time in La Paz so wonderful.

This was without doubt one of the friendliest places we have stayed in 8 months away from home, Reuben the owner and his family are superb hosts and really go out of their way to see that you have everything you need. The rooms are comfortable and really clean and cosy and they have great facilities including a DVD player and a collection of DVDs! Loved the place, you won´t regret staying there!

An excellent choice in La Paz. The rooms are spacious and spotless as are the bathrooms. The English speaking staff are extrememly helpful and obliging and offer cheap lifts to the airport, advice on La Paz, laundry and are generally a pleasure to deal with. After twelve months travelling the world this hostel would have to be one of the best we have stayed in. Location is A1 as well.

I chose this guesthouse based on the comments on your website. Beuatiful place, spotlessly clean, the owner greeted me by name when he opened the door! He was expecting me, so I felt instantly at home. I went away for a few days, and when I returned they had no room for me but put me up in their guest room in the family's home. great hostel, good rooms, located on central avenue (close to plaza san francisco). rubén and mauricio picked me up at the airport for half the price of a taxi, and even waited there for 4 hours because my flight was delayed! they gave me a double room for the price of a single (single was occupied due to strikes, making it impossible for other guests to leave la paz by bus). it's clean, the kitchen facilities are good, and the owners are just sssooo nice. highly recommended!

The management of the hostel were excellent and even offered to drive me to the airport at half the price of the taxi. I stayed there during elections when everything was closed and the wife of the owner cooked dinner for us. There is also excellent cooking facilities and an entertainment system for all guest to use freely. It is also very central, only about 2-3 minutes walk from the main square. I recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a safe, secure and friendly stay in la paz. Stephen
